Glass Facade Installation Case – Commercial Complex Lobby (Spider Routel + Fittings + Tension Rod System)
This installation case presents a real-world application of our spider routels, spider fittings, adapter connectors, and stainless steel tension rods in the glass curtain wall of a large commercial complex lobby. The entire glass facade is designed to offer both structural reliability and modern visual appeal.
The glass panels are connected by spider fittings and RLT01 spider routels, allowing for a secure and seamless connection. Adapter connectors are used between spider arms and steel wire tension rods to distribute loads and maintain the integrity of the large glass surfaces under external forces like wind or gravity.
For this project, four-arm stainless steel spider fittings and RLT01 routels were used in combination with laminated tempered glass. All components are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and ensuring long-term stability in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key highlights:
-
Precision-engineered spider routels ensure tight and even load distribution
-
Adapter connectors enable flexible glass angles and accurate installation
-
Stainless steel tension rods provide structural tension and visual transparency
-
The finished glass wall looks elegant under sunlight and blends into the architectural design
This commercial project is a great example of how our curtain wall hardware system can be used to build safe, aesthetic, and modern glass facades. The entire installation forms a unified structural network, combining mechanical function with architectural beauty.
